individualism is not the problem

Here's an article from the latest issue of Modern Reformation that I found very enlightening.

fragmentation

Only a fragment of me goes into any one thing I do. Is there anything worthy of doing with my whole being?

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment."

Oh, yeah. There is that. So why do I seem so incapable of doing it?

names

Is it acceptable to anglicize the pronunciation of Hebrew names when reading the Bible in English? Or should one be faithful to the original Hebrew pronunciations? For instance, the name transliterated Barak would be, in anglicization, "BAY-rack," but in a Hebraic pronunciation, "ba-RAHK" (like the presidential candidate). My wife advocates for the former, but I for the latter.

Any favorite anglicized murderings of Hebrew names? (My personal favorite is "Efreyuhm and Manassey.")

everything means #2

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

Do we escape by breaking out? Or by someone else breaking in?

or is it talking and walking

Which comes first? Walking? or Talking?

why

Because I can. Because somebody might care. Because maybe it will help me. Because maybe it will help you.

Not that there are any of you there.

A complete post of sentence fragments. Feels like life.
